MUSIC & MUSIC TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN
One year post; September 2017 to July 2018.

Required to start as soon as possible, a talented musician is needed to support the teaching of a music up to A level.  The main responsibilities are to assist with the management of resources, extra-curricular activities and in-class support. 

The post is 15 hours a week term-time only. Salary Band B.

We are seeking to appoint a well-organised, experienced and outgoing individual to join our busy reception team on Tuesdays all day and Thursday mornings.
The post is part of our Admin team and reports to the Office Manager. Duties include, answering the phone, registering visitors, administering the student “late book” and other admin tasks.

PART-TIME DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN

We are seeking to appoint an experienced D & T Technician needed to support the teaching of a range of Design & Technology subjects up to A level.  The main responsibilities are to assist with the preparation of work-shop materials for teaching resources and aids and to keep work shop areas in proper order, clean and tidy with due notice to Health & Safety. The ability to work in a team and a flexible approach are essential. 

The post is for up to 15 hours a week term-time only.

Salary Band B (£15,115 - £15,807 FTE). £5,147 - £5,384 actual.

Co-opted Governors

The governing body is currently advertising for two co-opted governors to join us. Co-opted governors are a recent development for all governing bodies and are different from the parent governor role because they can be recruited from parents or the wider community. This means there will be no election process involved in this recruitment campaign.

The Willink is a heavily oversubscribed and successful school. Student achievement is high with about 30% achieving A*/A at A Level and over 70% achieving 5+A*-C EM at GCSE. The school was judged to be good with outstanding features by Ofsted in 2014. The Willink is the lead school in the Two Counties Teaching Partnership. It has 1040 students on roll including 190 in the Sixth Form, and is situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting south west of Reading.
